About Me

Hi, I’m Yinyin Zhou — a designer working at the intersection of research, interaction, and emerging technology.

My background in finance trained me to think analytically and strategically, but it was through creative problem-solving that I found my direction in design.

Today my work focuses on AR, physical interaction, and participatory experiences that connect people, space, and story. I design through research, experimentation, and making — translating complex ideas into human-centered systems.

I’m currently pursuing an MFA in Interaction Design at the School of Visual Arts, where I continue to explore how technology can create meaningful, accessible experiences. I’m excited to collaborate, learn, and contribute to projects that challenge how we interact with the world.

Beyond design, I love reading, traveling to explore new places and cuisines, and spending time at museums and the theater.
